Iron recipes?

This is cross posted in a couple groups because I’m desperate

But I need recipes for how you personally cook liver. Cow or chicken. I’m very anemic. And have to get it up and keep it up in 2 weeks or I have to do transfusions. I would look on line but I like personal, old recipes better.

My aunt told me liver is the best. And she fries it in cornmeal and serves it with fried potatoes. Wich is how they do it in Alabama. I’ve been iffy about trying it until now. I’m not a picky eater but cornmeal sounds decent.
