Went into labor 38+6 at 2am, then stalled at 5am. Got things going again around 2pm and finally in active labor. Got to hospital around 4pm & almost 5 centimeters, then got the epidural a couple hours later, still a 5 but labor progressed very quickly after that and went from a 5 to 10 and ready to push about 3 hours later and she was born in 5 pushes at 8:57pm July 13th. I can't believe how smooth her labor went or that she came early!! I had planned a home birth and I tried all day but pain just got too much and I wasn't progressing enough. Epidural was great but hard at first getting it in. Took 3 tries and the first try was terrible, it hit a nerve and felt like my leg got electrocuted omg it was so bad! She's worth it all though!!💕💕💕 Meet "Adriana Kinsley" 7 pounds 10oz, 20 inches long.
