Do you think your parents should still text, talk, or hang out with your ex husband or wife ?

If you get a divorce do you think it’s appropriate for your parents to still talk, text and hang out with your ex ? And do you think it’s ok with or without kids involved?

Answer

Depends on the reason for the divorce honestly. If it were abuse, infidelity, excessive dishonesty, etc. then no. If it was a mutual decision and ended on okay terms I don’t see why not. That was their son or daughter-in-law and they loved them too. I know my in laws (especially sister and mother in law) will always be in my life. They even still invited me over and took me out when my husband and I broke up once early on 😂 It was short lived and everyone knew we would end up together but still.

I mean my mom wouldn’t Because I have primary custody of my daughter. 
His parents message me often asking about her because I have her all the time and he doesn’t live here. I write them back and send them photos .
My husband has an ex and his parents have zero reason to talk to her as we have 50/50 custody so they see him plenty. (And she’s a loony bag) and her parents don’t talk to my husband at all.
