Period ( what’s wrong ? )

Question

My period was suppose to start about 3-4 days ago it hasn’t. And I’m not sexually active. However, I’m experiencing cramps and small spots of bleeding. 
What’s going on ? 
AND 
What should I do ?

I once had a period that was 6 days late. I wasn’t sexually active at the time; it was just my body seemingly synching to my friend who I worked with and spent time outside the office with. Sometimes cycles just switch with no rhyme or reason.

I wouldn’t worry about it! It’s not terribly uncommon to have delayed (or even missed) periods for an assortment of reasons! Stress, lack of sleep, or just your body being weird! If you’re concerned, it can’t hurt to make an appointment with your doctor, just to make sure there’s nothing out of the ordinary going on.
