😢 I’m 36 Weeks and have had various issues during this pregnancy. One of the main issues was extremely swollen feet, ankles, legs and hands that cause pain. BP has not been high, no protein in my urine, but doctor did blood work just to be safe. My initial blood work showed that all is normal except for my uric acid being elevated. She didn’t seem to concerned, but ordered a second set of blood work.

I guess I’m not out of the woods for preeclampsia because I just got a call saying my second blood test showed that my uric acid is still elevated and this could be a sign of preeclampsia. I have to repeat the blood work today and she is going to have me see a perinatologist too!!

Uuuggghhh I swear I’m going to lose my mind thinking how this could effect my baby/pregnancy 😢😩.

Can any of you ladies tell me anything about your experience with preeclampsia or if you went through anything similar?
