When I was cleaning my chicken coop this morning I accidentally left the backdoor of his playroom ajar and he somehow pushed it open all the way and crawled into the backyard. Luckily my hens are all friendly so they didn’t peck him, but when I picked him up he had chicken poop on his hand. When I called my dr office they said to bring him into the ER if he starts puking or has diarrhea, and luckily so far neither has happened. I already feel like the worst mom for not closing the door all the way, but now I’m so worried about him getting sick! Has this happened to anyone else and did your child get sick from it??? 😩
