Labor concern

So my doctor is concerned I won’t feel when I go into labor. I went into preterm labor at 20 weeks and have contractions pretty much everyday since then. I see a high risk mfm doctor weekly and nst and I never feel my contractions. Usually my doctor has to tell me I’m having one. Even when in the hospital I didn’t feel them my nurses or doctor would always come in and say are you ok showing really big contractions every 2-3mins. They want me in the hospital after 3 contractions but only way I know is if they tell me or my hand is on my stomach. I have no cervix 80% effaced and station 0 or 1 in between at least that was two weeks ago get checked tomorrow. Anyone else have this issue?
