Are they actually terrible??

So a little backstory. My husband has an older brother who is basically the golden child. Never had to work for anything, given cars, money, etc. My husband on the other hand has always had to bust his ass for everything. When I was introduced to his family 10 years ago, I was excepted and liked pretty well I thought. Since his older brother has gotten married and had 2 children, I am the bottom of the barrel to them. His brother is a pastor in Missouri and my husband works in an operating room all day long. Now with being a pastor, his brother gets a house given to him by the church. We just built a house and worked so hard for it and his parents literally have nothing nice to say about it. His mom also loves to gossip

and has told people it's not that great. No matter where we go or what we do with them it's always about his brother and sister in law. They took me out for my birthday and all they talked about was them the whole 1.5 hrs we were at the resturant (mind you, the brother and sister in law wernt there) They cant acknowledge that we have done anything good for ourselves. I really dont know what to about all of this. We will be TTC baby number 1 soon and I'm not sure if I will be able to handle them doing the same thing towards my child that they do to us. What do we do??
