Teaching Middle School

I just applied to a job teaching middle school English and history in a private school. I’m good at English and I really enjoy both subjects, and I think kids are creative, bright and fun. However, I know there are pros and cons to every job, so if you’re a middle school teacher (or a teacher in general) what are some pros and cons about teaching?
