i was watching the show "The Doctors". they discussed sex doll brothels and if it should be a "thing" or widely accepted as opposed to purchasing sex from a human, and potentially reducing sex trafficking with the use of sex doll brothels.

so many times we have discussed prostitution for humans, what about robots?

-STDs can still be transmitted. as well as other bacterial infections like MRSA.

-"possibility" of reducing human/sex trafficking

-will a robot provide the same "intimacy" or "feeling" as a human

bonus: is this even sanitary? like as a woman buying my sex toys they encourge cleaning them after every use, some places have recommend me use condoms with my toys. so the very thought of a toy multiple people are using is off putting. how would that even be regulated? would it fall under a specific health code?
