Birthing centers near NYC

Does anyone know of a birthing center or maternity ward near the city (all 5 boroughs or even Westchester) that will 1) allow me to get out of bed and be active while in the early stages of labor, and 2) will release me & my newborn within 24 hours of giving birth (obviously provided the delivery is healthy) ?

I’ve given birth at St. John’s Hospital in Yonkers twice, went in twice because my water broke,& I was confined to a bed for 12+ hours with a terribly slow labor both times. I wasn’t permitted to have a shower or use my birthing ball. I don’t want this experience again.
