Not finding heart beat - missed miscarriage?
So, first of all I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks the baby was measuring a week behind and only measuring in the 2nd percentile (so could have really been 2 weeks behind) and the heart beat was 125 (below 120 is cause for concern). These seem like red flags that something may be wrong.
I have a Home Doppler and me and my husband tried three times for over thirty minutes to find the heart beat and two doctors tried at my last appt without any luck. I was 9 weeks, 10 weeks, and most recently 11 weeks when trying.
With my son, I could always find his heart beat even during the early weeks.
I haven’t had any bleeding but I was cramping a lot for awhile.
I’m worried something is wrong but I don’t have an ultrasound until the 30th and I tried to book a private ultrasound but they won’t see you unless you’re 16 weeks or further.
I’m in Canada so I can’t get an ultrasound earlier bc the way the system works and I told the Dr I was concerned but they said if I wasn’t bleeding nothing was wrong but couldn’t I be having a missed miscarriage?
I also haven’t had any blood work yet.
Any other ideas from anyone to ease my mind?
