What’s your opinion on long distance relationships?

I have someone I’m interested in.. we have met in person multiple times when he visited my state. He’s interested also but I’m just worried about the whole long distance part. I have trust issues lol.

Anybody try it yet?

They work with the right person. My fiance and I were long distance for 5 years. I hated it and I'd prefer not to be long distance, but we didn't have another option. You do need excellent communication though and trust is a must. If you have trust issues long distance probably won't work for you. Honestly, trust issues in any relationship is a problem. You really should work on yourself before getting into any relationship.

No I just find them juvenile. If you ha d trust issues though it could end horribly. I’d work on that before trying any relationship

I’ve been in a LDR for almost 2 years now with my SO being in the military, sometimes you have no choice but to support their career. We’ve been together for 3 years, but it’s definitely been challenging. If you can’t handle the distance and you end up missing them too much, don’t do it. It does take an emotional toll on you and especially being sexually frustrated makes it even harder. If you’re with the right person it is definitely worth it.

My SO and i were long distance in the beginning and now we've been together for 4 years. Your trust issues could be a problem though. Like the another commenter said you should work on that if you really want it to work out.
