Can anyone help? Letting go of a toxic love.

I’m trying to get over my ex and let me tell you I’m struggling. How do you let go of someone? Someone so toxic for you at that. He just up and decided he doesn’t want me.. I know so many people are in worse situations but any advice would greatly help. I’m lost.

When I left my toxic ex of 5 yrs I had 2 jobs, an internship and went to the gym everyday while being a full time student. It was somewhat unhealthy but thats how busy I had to stay to keep out of contact with him. Do what you got to do girl but dont let him in. Detatch completely and take the time away from him no "just wondering how youre doing" txts late at night when youre lonely. Get a gf to go to the gym with, that saved my life. Just stay healthy and strong and eventually, eventually itll pass even if you still miss him the urge to be with him will pass. Now almost 2 yrs later I still miss my ex but the urge has passed. You can do it!

It sounds cliche but time is the biggest healer. Try and keep busy and try not to talk to him and eventually you’ll find yourself thinking abut I’m less and less. 
It’s so hard to move on, but you will in time ❤️

Go out with friends you won’t be able to completely erase him but it’ll get your mind off
