Pumping and Bottle feeding, which bottle is best?

Hello everyone, I have not had my little one yet, but my due date is quickly approaching. I am planning to breastfeed for as long as I can, but I will have to pump and bottle feed once I return to work. Which bottle brand would you say has worked best for those who have introduced a bottle? I would like to continue to breast feed in the morning, evening, and nighttime feedings, and just use the bottle during work hours.

My daughter only gets bottles for daycare and is breastfed at home. We use Avent natural bottles with the first flow nipples (#0). We use paced feeding because it mimics breastfeeding which helps avoid nipple confusion/preference. You should check out kellymom.com, the have a handout for bottle feeding a breastfed baby that helped us and we gave a copy to the daycare so they knew how to feed her.

We use Avent classic. We had the Avent natural with my daughter, but those had to be lined up perfect to not leak, and Grandpa frequently made a mess, so I started using the natural and haven’t had any problems!

It's all trial and error with breastfed babies and bottles. I would suggest atleast doing one bottle feed a day after 6 weeks. Just so baby can get use to the bottle. And use a slower flow teat.

my son started out on tommee tippee e and he had a hard time with the nipple inverting I think he was just sucking so hard I even tried switching to a larger nipple and nothing worked then he would no longer take a bottle at all. the only nipple I could get him to take was a mama he didn't like the battle because he wanted a really fat bottle but everything that I've heard about these bottles are great he probably would have been fine if I just started him out with these to begin with
