I was scheduled for an induction but while hooked up to monitors waiting for the doctor to come, I went into labor by myself and continued to have regular contractions throughout the night. The next morning I was dilated enough for doctor to break my water and then labor continued and got more intense. Eventually the pain was too much for me to handle and I requested an epidural. Doctor checked after the epidural was administered and I was at 8cm. About an hour later i was completely dilated and ready to push. The doctor came a few minutes later, five pushes and baby was born!
