How many months should be the baby to go for the first time on a airplane?

Hi ladies, so my husband is military and we just got orders to go to Iwakuni Japan. We are currently stationed in California. I’m 10 weeks pregnant and my due date is in February 15th 2019, we are moving to Japan in April 14th 2019. I check on internet and says that if the baby is at least 2 weeks old it should be fine but is a looong trip. I haven’t seen my ob/gyn yet. I have an app. for July 27th and I will talk to him about it, but I would love to hear your real experiences about traveling with a 2 months old baby.
