Thoughts on doing IVF in Mexico or abroad?

Has anyone done fertility treatments in Mexico or another country? Or have you done research on this? We can’t afford to do it in the U.S. and my friend who lived in Mexico recommended we go there and that there are some really good clinics in Mexico. In terms of cost I’m thinking Mexico is our best bet because the travel and lodging would be cheaper than going across the Atlantic or Pacific.

I’d love any advice, stories, resources, recommendations etc! Thanks!
