Breast pump
So I am planning to breastfeed and I would love to be able to pump as well just a bit so my husband can feed our girl as well and I can go swimming in the evenings at some point. Obviously I know that things might be quite different and maybe I cannot breastfeed or maybe she won’t take the bottle... who knows.
But just in theory - if everything goes according to plan I think an electric pump would be too much for what I want to use it. So I was thinking hand pump.
Questions:
1) when do I buy one?
2) which brand?
3) recommendations for larger breasts (normal nipple size I think)
It’s weird because sometimes one reads that you can start pumping at some point to get things going but at the local hospital they were like “ah it usually happens fine and just buy one once the baby is there but most women don’t have issues” - thing is if nobody had issues there wouldn’t be so many things that are supposed to help with breastfeeding and how on earth do i know when the baby is there which one to buy? I am having a baby not growing a third eye suddenly...
