Question time for y’all

Period is 16 days late, yesterday I had brown/ old discharge which is old blood I know. Today I’m having pink spotting only a little bit on the panty liner and a little when I wipe. What could it be?? My periods are always extremely heavy from day 1 until they stop. I have a gyn appointment soon. Should I assume it’s just my period being lighter than normal or could It be late pregnancy. I don’t want to get my hopes to high. Little back story I have Pcos and have been ttc since September( 10) months.
