What was your follicle count?

I have been a week on stims in preparation for egg retrieval. I had an ultrasound check this morning and have 11 follicles. Although the doctor reassured me that my count is fine...I was expecting to have more. 
This is my first round of IVF due to a male infertility. I guess I expected better results because all my tests came normal. I know it’s not helpful to feel worried or disappointed but it’s hard not to feel this way.

Unexplained infertility. I had 8 on my final scan, but some were hiding and ended up getting 13 eggs, 9 fertilized naturally, 3 made it to 5 day blast  Implanted 1 and currently 14 wks pregnant. I totally believe it’s all about quality of the eggs.

My follie count changed every time! They increased one of my hormones at the end. What’s important is the mature eggs! Sometimes less follicles means the ones you do have grow higher quantity eggs. Good luck and baby dust 🍍

Just had my baseline yesterday and they counted 21. I’m very curious to see what ends up maturing.

I had 6 good follicles on each ovary - so 12 in total yesterday. That was after 9 days of stims. she explained that was of the ones she could see and had grown. I had 23 in total at my baseline scan so only 12 have grown to a good size. I'm back on Monday to check their growth. I'm 35 with unexplained infertility.

I had 50 on my first round it was canceled. I was so bummed. 11 is a good number. I got 8 on my cycle which was acceptable. Baby dust to you.

I had 19 retrieved, 15 fertilized & 8 froze ( we are down to 7 as I’m pregnant with my first transfer🤗, very early but we’re staying positive)

Just had my egg retrieval yesterday. 14 retrieved, 11 mature, 9 fertilized. I am 39 w/DOR and male factor. Quality over Quantity is most important

Evie- I’m in the same situation (and actually just created a similar post in the first time IVF group). Tonight is day 9 of stims for me and just have 11 follicles ranging 8-16. Always helpful to hear other people’s experiences so thanks all for sharing!

I had 10 at yesterday’s scan. I dunno if I have anymore hiding, but I’m DOR and my dr is incredibly pleased with how many follicles I have. I’ve stimmed 11 days so far.
