Ectopic or Ovarian Cyst?

So I’ve been having severe pain in my pelvic area on the right side and have been feeling extremely sharp pains since my ultrasound 2 weeks ago.

At my ultrasound, the doctor found no sac that developed and mentioned that either I’m too early or it’s ectopic. Okay, that makes sense, and I’m thinking that i was too early.... But a day after the ultrasound, I began having sharp pains that are ALWAYS consistent and hurt worse when I’m walking around at work and makes it very difficult to sleep. Laying down actually hurts the most even with ibuprofen....

I understand that ovaries can expand in early pregnancy but can the pains be consistent all the time this early on? Is this a cause for concern for the ER?
