First time

Im 18 and still a virgin. My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months now and we’ve talked about having sex for the very first time (he’s also a virgin). Im not on birth control so my question is would it be safe to have sex with just a condom or should I wait until I’m on bc and use a condom with that too. I was planning on making him pull out if we just use a condom but then again you never know if a person will actually pull out on time 🤷🏽‍♀️
