Ugh how I hate that! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Literally had a guy friend show up on my birthday without a gift and then left immediately after he ate his dinner and the birthday cake! Then texted me saying he firgot the gift and didn't mean to be rude! But girl he gave my gift (a box of chocolates and a Starbucks gift card) after 2,3 weeks! Every time he said he coming he'd be like oh yeah this came up or I don't feel good! Blah blah blah! So I was like boy bye!😑🙄 I mean I'd understand if they give you the gift prior before the birthday party! Or have a really good reason/excuse!

If the person you’re friends with gets mad because you didn’t bring a gift. I think you both need to rethink some things. The only time I think it would be rude is on like a 15th birthday or a 16th birthday. If you wanna get them a gift but can’t at least give them like $10 if you can. If not then it’s not really your fault.
