Baby registry

I am due January 23rd with our first baby. I was going to go to LA for xmas to visit my family and have a baby shower but, the dr said it’s too close to my due date.

So, I was thinking of writing an email and attaching my baby registry so that people could still contribute, but I don’t want to sound rude. Any tips?
