Does your SO have a sense of humor?

My SO doesn’t really get my jokes and it ends up with me having to explain them all the time. I love her but it’s hard to get over this problem. Does this happen with anyone else?

My boyfriend makes jokes all the time and they fly over my head for a couple of minutes until I get them. I tend to live so far in my own world it takes a bit to actually get to me if that makes sense? It’s never bugged him, he just finds it amusing when the little light goes off or if I’m still confused. I wouldn’t take it personally

Me and my husband have both. Sometimes the same sense of humor and sometimes way different. But sometimes that’s just me bc I never understand jokes that are by reference.

Of course everyone’s boyfriend has a sense of humor. What that sense of humor is varies a lot between women. I think I heard somewhere that a sense of humor is reported to be he most highly looked for thing in a potential boyfriend. Everyone looks for a sense of humor similar to their own!
