Hello everyone, does anyone have any tips for starting the adoption process?

My husband and I aren’t adopting because we can’t conceive, we’ve always talked. About having 4/5 children. And now that time is around the corner within a year or two and I want to be pointed in the right direction. When we first started talking about 4-5 kids we used to always mean our biological children. But lately we’ve had a change of heart, we want two of our own and to adopt the rest of our children. We’re even considering adopting a set of siblings from foster care. We just don’t know the first steps or any good agencies or anything. Are there any requirements to be met before you start looking?
