Today my daughter turned 21 months old, her potty chair also came in at the same time! I’m wondering if I’m wasting my time trying to potty train? 😩

My daughter will sit on the potty but doesn’t really want to go in it. I’m doing the diaper less method, so she is running around without a diaper and is bare bottomed. She has gone pee all over the place and only once today has she gone pee in the toilet. She had her legs bent in like she was trying to hold it in and that’s how I knew so I went and sat her on the toilet, she cried and cried trying to hold it in and finally let it all out. It was lot of pee. She’s telling me she had to go poop so I have her on the toilet but she refused to let it out and is just sitting on it 😅. Is this all normal? How do I know she’s not ready or that she is and what’s taking place is all part of the process? Thank you! Also, I have a 2 month old so this is even more challenging! 😣
