We live in a townhome neighborhood and there are always kids that look about my sons age (he’s 4) playing outside alone or walking the streets. Last week there were two kids laying in the street RIGHT where cars turn to enter the neighborhood. It ran my anxiety up knowing it was getting dark soon and they could’ve gotten run over so I went over and asked them to get up. Then there are two boys (7 and 9) that walk to my aunt house every day to play. They stay literally all day And eat there. Their parents have never once came to meet my aunt and make sure their kids aren’t hanging out at some creeps house. I get told I’m over protective all of the time but I could never allow my young kids to go play at some strangers* house without me meeting them or knowing the exact location
