Boy Moms- Potty Training Help

Hey ladies! My son is just turning two & is showing interest in the potty. He knows where his potty is when I say “lets go get on the potty.” He tells me when he’s going ‘pee pee’ & ‘poo poo.” But he tells me after or while he’s doing it. I’ve tried taking him every 15 min. I’ve tried peeing in the potty for him (yes I was desperate) lol. He will sit on the potty for a long time but never actually go. I can’t put anything in there for him to aim because he wants to eat it. Any tips? I know not to push him. I just want to try and get him to go one time so he understands that’s what he’s suppose to do. Thank you in advance!
