Did anyone use Natera genetic testing?

I called before I had it done to find out the cost and the lady said insurance usually doesn’t cover it so we offer a flat fee of $200. So I went ahead with the testing. This morning the claim on my insurance says $3900!!!! Has anyone had this testing done? What did you pay?

I opted out because I called my insurance company and they told me it would be around $2000

You’re suppose to call the lab back and give them the information on your claim of $3900. They will cover it and charge you $200

It’s $200 dollars. You use to have to call before the bloodwork, but you don’t need to any more. Your doctor should have given you a contact person. When you get the EOB saying that it’s not covered, call the contact person and they will adjust it the same day to the $200 dollar fee. I use them for my first pregnancy and using it again this time around. Natera is pretty easy to work with. If you have other questions, let me know.

It is $200. You should call your doctor where you got the blood test done and see if they know the way how to get it down Bc I did the same thing and some lady writes something to my insurance company and then they’ll only charge the 200.

I just had it done at my re's office at 9weeks, am now 12 weeks.  Bill stated $795 but no insurance cash pay was reduced to $349.
They pulled that crap on me 2 years ago, charged my then Insurance same as you, of which I had to pay around $1200!
