faster heart rate during pregnancy?

Is it normal to have a faster heart rate during pregnancy? Sometimes I get palpitations and this started recently now that I'm 20 weeks.

I started getting higher readings once I hit 34-35 weeks. The weird thing is the nurse who took it was like wow that’s high she switched arms and it went back to normal. The same instance has happened to me twice now. So although my heart rate is still slightly higher than what it was in the beginning when they switch arms the readings go down. Maybe you could suggest this to your doctor or midwife
