Every time I get my birth control alert I have to stifle a nervous giggle. The message, “Get it girl!”, implies to me that I must be having sex while on the pill. In actuality, I am a sixteen year old who survived two years of date rape. I’m not asking you to change your alert because I know there are plenty of ladies who have not had these experience and it appeals to the majority. I would like you to try and remember the minority as well. I appreciate your enthusiasm for sex, but at times it can be scary to use your app. Obviously the answer is for me to avoid the topics that make me uncomfortable, but please make sure you know that your ways to “please him tips and tricks” bring back terrible memories.
