Will I go into labour?

Question

I’ve had a show every now and again for the last week and my discharge has become very watery, tinged with a light brown colour. I’ve also had a few Brixton Hicks in the last week and a lot of pressure down stairs. Is sex likely to make me go into labour? 35+2 today!
*edit: I’m not trying to induce labour - the opposite*

Those are just normal symptoms in the last part of pregnancy. I’ve been having that for weeks now and I’m 36 weeks, my daughter though is dropped into “0 station” so that’s the cause for everything, it still doesn’t mean labor is gonna come soon. It’s something you probably should just ask your ob because you definitely don’t wanna try to induce labor at 35 weeks.

The brownish stuff can be your mucus plus coming out slowly. Pressure and Braxton Hicks are totally normal as early as 30 weeks. 
If your baby does decide to come earlier than 40 weeks hopefully it’s at 37 or after. You want a full term baby so he/she is healthy ☺️

Probably not. Those symptoms sound pretty normal at the end of a pregnancy. You could still possibly go past your due date.
