Do it again!? 🤔

If you have been induced would you do it again, if not medically needed? (Please don’t come at me with the negative “why would you do such a thing” comments either).

I was induced with my first (preeclampsia) and now I’m 37 weeks and the dr is starting to talk about thinking of another induction as my latest growth scan showed a slight tail off in growth and I am BEGGING not to be induced again. Obv if it’s medically necessary I’ll go ahead with it but if you have the opportunity to let the baby come when ready I would take it.

I would if I was at a better facility with some bedside manner, especially if it’s an issue of not feeling the contractions at all again.

I was induced at 37 weeks for my son’s safety. I would not do it if it wasn’t necessary. I did not have the best experience.

My water broke so they had to induce contractions using pitocin which actually can slow down labor.  I am really hoping for this baby contractions start on their own while im home and I can labor at home as long as possible.

only reason I say no is because I want to do it all natural if I were to get pregnant again. I wanted all natural with my daughter but under some circumstances I ended up being induced it wasn't bad or anything or too slow went pretty smoothly but in the future I want to be able to go into labor naturally and have no epidural.

No. I opted for a voluntary induction right on my due date and although it wasn’t a bad experience, I’d still much rather wait it out and see what happens on its own.

I was induced at just around 37 weeks, I had very low amniotic fluid so the baby had to come. I know being induced brings on very strong contractions. I’d rather my body naturally go through the motions than be “forced” to begin the process.

My induction was necessary due to blood pressure, and while it was a wonderful experience...I'd rather try going into labor naturally next time (if there is a next time... 7 year journey to our rainbow baby...) anyways pitocin contractions are no joke. I'd rather ease into them and have that build up rather than just bam right into it. That part was intense.
