Ovulation test as a pregnancy test

Does anyone have any idea how using an ovulation test as a pregnancy test works? My period is 3 days late. My period is irregular but is always early, only once has it been late and that was only for a day. I have the LH ovulation detection tests and I’m not sure how to tell what it means. My husband and I have been trying for over a year and I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I can’t help it. Any clues help please and thank you. Also, what are my chances of becoming pregnant with an irregular period? I’m including pictures of my test that I took around noon. I’ll do another one just because I want to see what happens but....can I be pregnant? I had cancer and have irregular periods but haven’t had the last one for almost a month. 🤞🏽🤞🏽 fingers crossed.
