Ovulation and period???

Question

If you get your period Does that mean you ovulated that month and you are able to conceive a baby? Or could you still not have ovulated because of hormone imbalances Asking anyone with PCOS? Thanks ladies!

Hello. I can’t give you a PCOS specific answer I’m afraid but I know that having a period doesn’t mean that you ovulated. Most people who have a period have ovulated but a smaller number of people have a period and even an LH surge and yet they do not ovulate. Hopefully that might be of some help. I don’t know whether this is linked to PCOS... x
