10 week ultrasound and excess fluid?

Maybe I’m overreacting because I just had a loss with my last baby but I feel like I had a lot of NT fluid. The tech didn’t say anything was alarming but I was too afraid to ask. I know it’s my fault and I will ask at my next appointment but I just was curious if anyone has had something look similar. I don’t remember as much fluid with my others but I don’t know.

Hi Summer — I don’t know the real answer but have a tidbit that might be comforting. I just had my 12 week ultrasound specifically for that measurement. I asked, “If we do see excessive fluid, what would you expect to see later in the pregnancy? More fluid?” Part of the answer is that the fluid measurement needs to be done within a specific date range and isn’t valid outside of that. So.... perhaps 10 weeks is too early to take any of that fluid measurement seriously (?).
