Kissing advice???

I’m 16 and just met a guy that I really really like. But I am TERRIFIED of kissing. It’s not like I don’t want to or anything but it scares the heck out of me. I get super nauseous and feel sick. I just want to know how to get over my fear. Some people say to just do it. I’ve kissed guys before and every time their lips are WET. Is that normal? Lol. If it is then ig I’m not into that.
