Can your partner feel the IUD strings during sex?

I’m getting an IUD (Kyleena) next week and I’m a little nervous as I’ve heard people have gotten them taken out because their partner can feel them. My partner is above average in size and this concerns me, as well as him hitting my cervix and knocking it out of place. Any advice/experiences would be appreciated

They aren’t suppose too but mine did, I ended up removing it because it was causing him pain and stabbing him (had the blood marks to prove it) and also it was causing me pain. I had mine in six months before we met and had sex so they had plenty of time to change

Yes. I had the mirena IUD for over a year and I got the strings cut down twice to the point where there wasnt any more string left and so when I got it removed my dr had to use this scary looking grabber thing. 😩 but my husband could always feel them and I could feel it being hit too, it was so uncomfortable.
