How would you tell your spouse?

How would you tell your spouse that you don’t want to name your daughter after his deceased mother at least in the first name spot? My husband knows that this is coming if our baby is a girl because he knew before we were married how I felt about the name. My husband is a very sensitive guy and I respect his feelings and loss so that’s why am asking you all how you would gently reiterate your feelings now that you’re expecting? We’ll know in about three weeks what we’re having, so I won’t have the

conversation until then;)
