how long did you breastfeed?

my daughter is turning 2 in August and I want to stop breastfeeding already, mostly because I'm pregnant and super weak from vomiting so much .. I feel like she's sucking the life out of me.. she will take a sippy cup with milk but she has to have bm at least 2x a day or she cries bloody hell.. what's the easiest way to stop?

My daughter will be five in February she’s still breastfeeding. My son is 10 months old. I hated breastfeeding while pregnant. I was throwing up constantly too, the entire time. But she and I struggled so much in the beginning I’m determined to let her decide when to stop. I don’t see my son going as long as her. He’s already so much different when it comes to nursing. It’s cool. He doesn’t need me like she does. 
Breastfeeding is beneficial when mutually agreed upon. If you’re over it you can stop. Maybe start with setting a time limit or only during certain times of day that way she can have you still. Or just replace it with a book or something. I know some kids stop and then start again when they see the baby doing it so that could happen if you let it.

I just weaned my daughter who also turns two in August. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and just needed a break. She was only nursing at night so we just stopped cold turkey. She still asks sometimes at night, but I just tell her NO and she goes back to sleep.

I planned to wean my daughter at 2 but she ended up weaning herself about 2 weeks before her birthday when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I planned to nurse every other day with her for a week or so and then stop but she never asked for it again 🤷 maybe try to cut to one feeding a day and then less from there. It is tough mama but I tell my husband you have to be more stubborn than a 2 year old. is there any thing you could give in place of breastfeeding? if it's at like night time maybe try a new routine with reading books, songs, etc. good luck!

I stoped cold turkey with my son 1 day after his second birthday. He asked for it a few times and I would just hand him some milk and and distract him with a toy or book and in less than 3 days he stopped asking.
