IUD vs the pill

so for the past three years up until march i was taking the pill really regularly, i did gain some weight when i was on it but not a lot. i had to stop in march because i was having breast reduction surgery and now i’m very scared to go back on the pill because estrogen can make your boobs grow. any of you that have an IUD, what do you think?? does it make you gain weight, or your boobs grow? how were your other side effects? or any of you ladies that are on the pill did you notice an increase in boob size? i also have VERY!!!!!! bad period like curled up in a ball crying so i was hoping an IUD might be my new solution
