I read online that clomid can give false positives on opks if you dont wait 3 days past the last pill to test. 
When did you start testing? 
I'm taking it CD 3-7. So should I not test until CD 11? 
Or should I test but just understand it may not be a true positive. Therefore, keep testing. I use cheap opks so I'm not worried about money.

This past round of clomid i started testing on cd 7 with the understanding that i could get a false positive and it was WAY positive that first day. I continued testing and was freaking out because i wasn’t getting another positive, but finally on CD17 i got another positive! So i would say yes, definitely possible, and likely. Dr recommendation is wait until cd10.

I had some cycles where i would get a positive OPK and never ovulate or i would get multiple positive OPK in a cycle (many days apart) not sure why...but who knows.
