Anyone else feel like they don't have time to pump as often as they planned to?

I'm exclusively pumping. I try to pump every 3 hours but it rarely works out that way lately. It ends up being every 4-5 hours now. I have a young toddler AND a 3 week old. Even with the help I have now, I don't have much time to pump. So many things get in the way. I get around 3-4 oz each session, and I feed formula at night. So I have more than enough breastmilk. I even have some frozen.

I’m currently trying to get my son to breast-feed but in the meantime I am also exclusively pumping. I definitely go way too long in between, I’ve had six or seven hours before 😣 I have a great supply, there are times I get seven or 8 ounces dduring a sitting But I am worried I’m going to really hurt my supply if I keep doing this. I find it very monotonous and I absolutely hate pumping, Especially at night 😩

i have a 2 week old and totally failed at exclusively pumping..there was just no way i could do it 8 to 12 times a day to match his eating and my supply already has and is dwindling. At my best i was only pumping 5 times a day. i just feel proud that i gave him tons of colostrum which is the biggest kick of antibodies and now im giving him formula which is still super good for him so i dont feel like i failed..breast feeding and pumping just didnt work for me.

Keep it up ladies you are doing a fabulous job!! My little one was unable to latch so I exclusively pumped for 7 months (which felt like an eternity!) Any amount of breast milk your little one receives is amazing! Pumping can be emotionally draining and utterly exhausting. Make sure you are taking good care of yourselves too 😌
