Used cribs?

My parents said I can have the crib I had as a baby (it’s probably from 1999 because that’s when I was born) but I’m worried about safety or something. not sure what could possibly be unsafe but I wouldn’t be surprised if cribs have changed in the last 20 years. Is this okay in your opinion or I should get a new one?

it's fine as long as it's not a slide lock crib I believe they are those are really dangerous and you aren't supposed to use them

Im curious to know why your parents kept your crib? Not in a mean way of course just curiosity, I wish my parents would have kept stuff from when I was a baby but no😐

It honestly depends on the condition of the crib and where it has been stored. I have a used bassinet that many children in my family have used. I google the name of it and checked the safety features to make sure everything is okay. Everything is fine and I love it bc it rocks too lol.

Depends on the condition of the crib. As long as it is sturdy, looks safe, and isn’t missing any pieces then it is perfectly fine to use a used one.
