no condom? please help!!

so i've been on the pill since april 2018, and i've been late taking it a few times but i've never missed a day. my boyfriend moved away a month ago, but i might get to see him soon! he said he wants to try having sex without a condom next time, and i just wanted some advice or personal experiences maybe from those who are on the pill and have sex without a condom? anything i should no? bad or good idea? thank you for any help!

Well, the pill doesn't always prevent pregnancy. I just would like to point that out. It's up to you and your boyfriend to take that risk, but if you don't want the possibility you should probably use a condom.

The pill is only 97% effective when used properly and about 94% effective if you’ve forgotten/been late with it. Unless you want to chance it, go for it but be open and communicative as to why you don’t want an unplanned pregnancy. If he tries to make the argument “it just doesn’t feel as good with it on “ don’t fall for that. Of course it doesn’t feel as good! Doesn’t feel as good for the female either, but you know what else doesn’t feel as good? Having a baby rip through your vagina, or spending money on diapers. Do what makes you comfortable and just be sure you’re both on the same page.
