Does anyone know how much genetic testing is?????

My insurance doesn’t cover fertility treatments or testing and my partner and I want to have genetic testing done after two consecutive miscarriages . We had the Anora test done on the fetus and it had a terminal deletion of chromosome 4.

My husband and I had genetic testing done because we’ve had four back to back losses. We have united healthcare and it covered everything but 70 dollars for both of us. Just call your insurance

I used to work in healthcare patient services and people would call to request quotes for tests and procedures. The cost of service depends on the facility that you are going to and your insurance company. Even if your insurance does not cover any portion of the service they usually have a negotiated rate with the facility. If you have insurance you are never paying the actual full cost of the test. You basically get some sort of discount for just having insurance. I would recommend calling to request pricing from either the insurance company or the facility you go to. Someone should be able to get you an estimate 🙂 I hope this helps!

I have the kit right now for the “collection” of my early pregnancy. The rep said that if the insurance does not cover, the max Out of pocket (at least for my region) is $349. Worth it for us, given multiple MCs and now lots of $$ spent on fertility work up and treatment.
