Bleeding-early testing? Experience? Opinions?

So Tuesday my husband & I had sex, afterwards we noticed quite a bit of blood on him and it was bright red fresh blood. I was mid cycle.

This is not normal for me. I don’t bleed except my period and it’s always right on time.

I was like what the heck. But I waited until Thursday morning to poas. It was the faintest positive I’ve ever seen in my life. But I’m still so early. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got a BFP with my son (who is now 2 years) like 4 days before I was due and it was a dark line. So I thought it would be the same way. I decided I’d take one every morning until my period to see If the line gets darker. I’m concerned I may have miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy or something.

They look like they’re getting darker right? They take a really long time to show up too. Like the full 5-10 min they give you. What do you think the bleeding was?? I’m just confused and want to be prepared Incase something happened.
