Overnight Pumping
My baby is starting to sleep in longer stretches overnight. We EBF except for one pumped bottle I give her before bed (after nursing.) I typically pump once a day, right before I go to bed and that's what I would feed the baby the next night. Now my baby is starting to sleep in longer stretches overnight. Two nights ago she slept from 8pm-3:30am and last night from 8:30-4am. Both times when she woke up I put her straight on the boob, which she drained but fell back asleep while eating. I changed her diaper and then tried to get her to finish on the other side, which was very engorged by that point. Both times she latched and drank for a minute or two, but she was full and sleepy so she stopped and fell into a deep sleep. What should I do if she continues to sleep for such long stretches? I am enjoying the extra sleep but I don't want my supply to go down. Should I set my alarm for like 1-2am and pump?
